Bipasha abandons Twitterland following criticism.

Star leaves social networking site after being criticised for uploading images that appear to promote child labour After the initial euphoria, some bollywood stars have realised that getting up close and personal with their fans via Twitter is not always the best idea. So what are they doing? They've decided to skip the virtual world and are going back to their ivory towers.

Karan Johar and Shah Rukh Khan have done it and now it's Bipasha Basu's turn. The reason? The glamour gal was criticised for posting a picture of two young girls tying her shoe laces. After the media broadcast the image, Bipasha clarified that the two girls were actually her sister and her friend, but her followers accused her of supporting child labour.
And if your are wondering what prompted KJo and SRK to desert Twitter, then let me remind you of the fiasco known as My Name is Khan. The two have still not recovered from the cyber outrage they had to face from their fans for that major flop. So, now you know why they are staying away from social networking.
